Art Jameel supports artists and creative communities. Current initiatives include running heritage institutes and restoration programmes, plus a broad range of arts and educational initiatives for all ages. The organisation’s programmes foster the role of the arts in building open, connected communities; at a time of flux and dramatic societal shifts, this role is understood as more crucial than ever.

Mark the 5-year anniversary of the Youth Takeover Programme and discover its inspiring journey. What began as a simple idea to bring young creatives together has evolved into a significant initiative, supporting youth and opening many doors during and beyond their time in the programme.
The Assembly is an annual talent development programme in the UAE, nurturing young artistic leaders aged 18 to 24. Each year, eight creatives are selected to participate in fortnightly sessions, exploring arts engagement, developing personal interests, gaining skills, visiting exhibitions at Jameel Arts Centre, and connecting with cultural leaders.
